I HAD TYPED UP A POST BUT FORGOT TO PUBLISH AND NOW IT'S LOST
anyway
Today is Thursday. Yesterday a "quick" morning coffee hangout turned into like 3 hours. I need to get better at calling it during a hang out. Tody was a bit better, lunch at a friend's house was fun and extended into coffee (re:title; 9/10) and a little shopping (water bottle for BZ). Home again now, though.
I need to do the rearranging I was talking about earlier. I want to smoke a cigarette - Gold Flake chotta wala - but I don't want to buy them. Which is so lazy because I can order it on the Swiggy delivery app and it would come in like 10 minutes.
I have been thinking about how the Left is infamously disorganised because of so much political micromanagement, and why the Right is so much more cohesive. I think it's because they bond over their shared hatred of things. What about bonding with love? I try now not to judge people too much for not being the specific brand of woke I am because I guess at the end of the day, it's not about identity politics but class politics.
I read a tweet recently that said protests are ineffective because they are just angry marches. They need to be warnings to the people with power. A show of self-respect. We will not work until you give into our demands. A labour strike. I would like to think I would be so all in for that but would I really? Maybe yes. Yes. Maybe. Yes. It is scary. If you don't fall in line, there is so much to be lost. Or so they say. What do you think?
Anyway, I must go to rearrange some furniture now. Toodles
