I find myself in India, somewhere in its middle.

Today I woke up after a somewhat-fun somewhat-stressful (illicit substances + painting and work, respectively) sleepover with my sister and her friend L. L had left earlier to go to the gym, rushed out the door as I barely managed to lift my head enough to give her a little wave and tell her to have fun.

I overheard bits and parts of my sister's conversation with the rest of our family (3) in A/NZ - I told them much much too grumpily to keep it down. The day was supposed to be about bank work. EUGH. However! Surprisingly! Amazingly! I got it all done on the shitty bank app and didn't have to leave the comfort of my living room. Yet. There are steps to this bank work I must undertake.

Sometime after that (coffee, brushing teeth, speaking to (3)) I ordered a corn and spinach sandwhich and "skin-care" smoothie. The skin-care I didn't care so much about but the kiwi-fruit and omega three something or the other sounded really good (I'm lowkey shocked I can't remember the other ingredients) and it was. After that, my sister and I talked at length about the night before and I realised I would walk to the ends of the earth to understand her and would definitely give her the literal shirt off my back; I saw someone say that about their sister somewhere online and it felt so real to me now I think it often.

She announced, to cure her fever/sore throat (which was another source of stress last night), we should go shopping!! We hit up three stores:

  1. Miniso: I bought a clip, SO many black hair ties for 150 rupees, a spray bottle that reminds me of a perfume I had long ago but I honestly can't remember when or what was going on in my life during the time I was using it. But it is deeply familiar. I can't remember what she bought but I think it was also a spray.

  2. Decathlon: For the vibe, according to my sister, at this sport shop, we saw several customers (I think) riding around on scooters. Delightful. Hazardous. I bought some pants for work.

  3. Blue Tokai: Got spagetti at this cafe (not coffee because of its gastrointestinal side effects), it was alright. "I neither laughed nor cried, but I stayed through the closing credits." (mimismartypants circa 2003).

  4. Westside: Boring, waste of time. I was starting to feel nervous about upcoming gynac visit. Was also getting itchy-sclaped at the thought of coordinating with L for another hang out.

My day ended in my partner's home, far away from the shopping mall/my home and with an earlyish night for me not him (he woke up late!! punish him!!)

I don't know how to end this. SO TILL NEXT TIME
